[Cyclelicious] New comment on Bay Area Olympic cyclists.

...nice to see the "mercury news" giving some press to both mary mcconneloug & christine thorburn but the extremely brief article is very poorly researched...

...it mentions that mary placed 9th at the 2004 games & was 6th at the 2006 nationals...the 'mercury news' fails to mention that mary is not only a four (4) time national champion, but is the current reigning champion having won that prestigious title two years in a row...

...it also states that her partner mike broderick is on the '08 olympic team which implies by omission that mike is going as a rider, when to the best of my knowledge, he's going as a member of the support staff...micheal is a world class cyclist in his own right but again, poor research...

...that being said, mary n' mike are two of the best representatives that the sport of cycling, in general & mountain biking, in particular, could ever hope for...strong & competitive, yet humble & gracious to the extreme...
